srsly?

DONE. DONE. DONE. DONE WITH EXAMS.

FINITE. FINISHED.

I AM SO GLAD THAT IS OVER WITH AND NOW I CAN MOVE ON WITH THE REST OF MY LIFE.
After I get completely fucking drunk tonight, it's going to dead brill. So anyone who isn't a wanker and wants to come pub crawl with Bill, Bryn, Roger, and I that would be dead brill.

ALSO: THANK YOU VERY MUCH MELISANDE AND HEALER LATHROP. TODAY WENT WELL.

yes you are really stupid
WELL. Only a week until my first NEWT. (Alright less than a week.) I've just had my run (I woke up at a delightful 4 am this morning) and I'm sitting here waiting for Healer Lathrop to show up so we can do a test written exam. Yes, that's right, I've been practicing sitting still because it's been four months since I've been in a class room and longer than that since I've sat and taken an exam, and let's be honest, I'm not that good at sitting still.

Then later today, Melisande Grubbly-Plank will come over and I'll do another practice exam. Yes, my tutors are bloody brilliant and my essays are improving. Thank you and thank you. I almost feel like I was born ready to take these exams, but that was to play Quidditch.

I'm sorry that I'm not at Hogwarts during pre-NEWT stress week. I really am but I think it's best for everyone involved that I'm here and you're not because I am READY FOR THE NEWTS. BRING THEM ON EXAMINERS. REBECCA J. WHITBY IS MORE THAN READY FOR YOU. BILL I AM GOING TO BEAT YOUR MARKS.

Not looking forward to Quidditch season ending, but I AM looking forward to starting for English U-21 and everything else. Including moving in with Bryn. We'll be living in Wales and it's going to be DEAD BRILL.

Hmmm I feel like I'm forgetting something about today but I'm sure it will come to me. If it doesn't it can't be that important. Maybe I'll go use my brother's Rememberall but he's asleep and I've just decided, I don't really want to go into his bedroom.

10 MAY 1982 - Bright and early people.

srsly?
Alright so. Let's discuss England's chances for the World Cup in case, god forbid, Ludo Bagman goes to Azkaban. I don't know much about it from what I've read in the papers because Bill just keeps saying LUDO BAGMAN in this high-pitched girly voice anytime it comes up and last night we went out with two of his Irish coworkers and that is not the place to talk about England's chances for the World Cup. (There's Roger and Bryn too, but Roger agrees with me and Bryn is Welsh and a Morgan.) And also because I just went for a run and runs are unfortunately good for thinking.

So, England's chances, England.

England can still win the World Cup.

I know, you're saying CRAZY TALK BEX WHITBY. But it's true. Granted, Ludo Bagman gives us their best shot, but we still have Brock Blenkinsop. And Thorne Pucey sits reserve for England and it's not like he's the fucking Beater for the Cannons. He beats for the Arrows who are having a pretty fucking good season and we still have Sennett Vaisey who starts along Ludo. Vaisey is the Captain for the Falcons and England, so while the Falcons have had a few rough patches this season and tried to kill McCormack, they're not exactly terrible.

The starting three are a Bat, an Arrow, and a Wasp. The ones that sit behind them are Melisande Grubbly-Plank (who is brilliant for the terrible slide the Magpies are on), a Falcon, and Brock Blenkinsop's brother from Puddlemere United. Most of those teams have winning records. They are mostly Chasers from the best teams on the league. Not the best teams at Chaser games, but the best teams.

The Keepers are Tugwood and Jenkins. Tugwood plays for Puddlemere United and when they're fucking on, they're fucking on. Jenkins is an Arrow and she practices against that Chasers game every bloody day and the Arrows have three starting Chasers for three different National teams.

They are all dead brilliant Quidditch players. It's not like England will be going to Japan with a lineup from the Cannons.

Is losing Bagman a setback? It sure as fuck is. Do I hope he gets off? I sure as hell do. That's not what I'm saying. What I am saying is that England can still show up to Japan and kick everyone's arses because while Bagman is probably the best Beater England has had in, oh, ever. ENGLAND CAN STILL WIN THE CUP WITH THE PLAYERS THERE. Losing Bagman is a huge fucking loss, but I've still got my money on Thorne Pucey being able to hold up against the best Beater's the world has to offer (besides Ludo Bagman). Yes, I'm a little more worried about England's chances, but they still have chances. Good ones actually when you look at the rest of the team.

Anyway, best of luck on getting off, Ludo Bagman.
And best of luck England.

SO TODAY:

I gave myself a hair cut.
I went for a run this morning.
I worked.
I flew.
And I'm about to go for a night run before I jump out of my skin.

Two months until NEWTs.

Bryn and I went to the Hufflepuff/Slytherin match. We didn't stick around. Don't see how Huffflepuff is that cheerful after fucking OCTAVIAN FUCKING FLINT basically shut down the Chaser game but it's not my fucking business. Whatever it DOES NOT FUCKING MATTER. Then yesterday we managed to get tickets to see Roger play and they lost. Dead brilliant weekend.

I think Bryn and I are closer to finding a flat, it's going to be dead brilliant.

Fucking O

yes you are really stupid
Well this has been a productive morning, I've already had my run, showered, and now I'm playing a very involved game of Pick Up My Cup. If I was at Hogwarts, I would be scrambling to finish my Transfiguration homework, but since I'm not at Hogwarts, I'm playing Pick Up My Cup. Fair trade, I think. The only downside is no breakfast theatre, but I'll manage. And today is my first day back from my Easter hols and I have to go meet Healer Lathrop for prelunch Transfiguration. Should be alright.

Bryn and I have really started talking about settling our plans for our flat that we're getting after i take my NEWTs. I'm excited. It's going to be dead brilliant. I think Bill is more excited than I am because it means that there won't be anyone to give him shit on a regular basis. He says he gets enough of it at work, I find that very doubtful.

It was good seeing everyone that I got to see in the past week. Last night Murray and I went for drinks and it was like old times at Hogwarts (back in fifth year, you know), except we were at a bar and there were cute blokes. So really, it was nothing like Hogwarts.

unsure, wary
It's unfortunately been raining all day. Puddlemere beat Caerphilly earlier today, which was too bad. I had a rather intense game of Aunt Bex please pick me up earlier, but now we're both quietly playing with toys.

And right now I'm listening to the Kestrels/Falcons. I swear I can almost hear Elise Horton yelling but that's probably just my imagination.

Oh right, Happy slightly belated Birthday to Heathcote Barbary and now I have go to finish my Charms work for tomorrow.

18 FEBRUARY 1982

  • Sep. 18th, 2009 at 6:11 PM

Today was just brilliant because today while I was being tutored, Drem Morgan came because a certain crazy fucking Lydia Hooper hexed my brother. At work. Bleeding brilliant.

And I know, blah blah blah, none of you at Hogwarts give a fuck or you want to lecture me about how I left but if I had to look at Octavian Flint's fucking face, I would have pulled a crazy Hooper and tried to hex it off because I am a stupid fucking girl.

ANYWAY. Roger, clear off your couch, I'm not going home tonight, I'll come straight there when I'm done here. Might not make it to your match tomorrow though. Fucking Hoopers.

TONIGHT
I get to go back to Ravenclaw and sleep in my own bed.
Or Flint's if he's talking to me

TWO HOURS AND LYNCH AND I ARE FREE.
FREE

I still have to watch my head a bit, but that should surprise no one.

Although I have to thank Arnold and Crumb for providing us theatre yesterday with their duel. Good show.

WELL. Christmas is over Hogwarts. Which means that everything is NEWT, NEWT, NEWT, NEWT, NEWT, NEWT, NEWT, NEWT, NEWT, NEWT. Even though we play Slytherin in less than two weeks (Lynch, you might want to owl ahead to St Mungo's to book a bed). I have all my revision done and I don't plan on getting any detentions between now and then, but you know things happen. (Ethan was even nice enough to double check my Defence essay, I am golden for lessons this week like you wouldn't even fucking believe.)

(Also, Bill, I bet you a galleon that I can get a higher score on my NEWTs than you did. And you had better be coming in two weeks or I'll owl baby pictures of you to the MLE.)

really?
HOME.

Last night I got off the train, said hello to my brother and everyone here, dropped off my bags, and then Apparated right out to go to Murray's birthday party (picking up Bryn and Roger along the way). That was fucking brilliant. We got to see some Cursebreakers break shit and then someone suggested fireworks and finally the MLEP came and broke up the party. Plus I got to see people I hadn't seen in ages. Which means it was a FUCKING BRILL PARTY MURRAY. Happy Birthday.

I don't really have any other plans for hols, lots of training and all that rot. Arrows/Magpies on the 26th and the Magpies again on the 1st (shit luck, that is). I'm excited to see both matches, I love nothing more than to scream at Roger. Which because I'm going to Arrows/Magpies, I'll miss seeing Emmett play the Tornadoes that morning, but I figure someone'll need to go cheer on the Magpies before they lose.

Anyway, really bloody excited for hols. Might not go bac REALLY bloody excited for it.

Well, I've already seen Hooper today, but I haven't seen Corliss, so if anyone does today let me know. My life has been dead boring without Corliss in it. Except Flint and I shagged for hou Hope she and the kid are alright. Feel bad that the prat that knocked her up was Hooper.

Anyway, Bill, if you're reading I've done all my homework for tomorrow. I think this means that you should owl me some biscuits or something equally delicious because I have been a good girl. I hope that you're not getting into too much trouble. I know how you are.

Nice, close match on Saturday.

You might ask yourself:

Bex has been quiet this summer. I wonder what she's been up to:

1. U21.
2. Running 5K every morning with professional Quidditch players and O.
3. Trying to figure out what the fuck Oz Warrington is doing playing U21.
4. Visiting my niece.
4. Trying to help out Law Enforcement by making sure that my brother has a supply of chocolate biscuits for after work.
5. Spending quality time with the family. Because you know, I'm all about family bonding.

Which means I have not had time to:

1. Write here.
2. Get lai Party.

It's shit about Aaron McKinnon. I wasn't his best mate or anything, but I'd had more than one conversation with him and let's face it, no matter who it is, it fucking sucks when someone doesn't come back to school. Unless it

Okay, that's my piece. Time for a shower.

You lot take too many bleeding lessons.

Oh right. Urquhart, if you can bother to tear yourself away from revision, McCormack signed a two year agreement with the Wasps (Meg obviously) and Horton signed a contract with the Falcons yesterday. She's reserve. And still going another year on U21, fucking Christ. Got her owl this morning.

Alex is seriously the cute

OI. Anyone know if we are getting Podmore back on Monday? I need to know because I need to know if I actually show up.

Anyway, Quidditch off-season is pretty bleeding interesting, if I don't say so. I got an earful from Urquhart about the Wanderers. Shit luck. I'm not stupid enough to say anything else.

I am so ready for U21. I'll be sitting behind Horton, but I heard she's might be going off with the Falcons next year, so it won't be too bad. I can make obscene gestures at Lynch during England/Ireland.

Oh right.
That's what I was doing.

15 MAY 1981

  • Dec. 15th, 2008 at 8:02 PM

WELL.

So it's been a busy few weeks for me, what with Bats v. Wasps and Portree v. Kestrals. Say what you want, Hell Urquhart has had a bad year, but she's still a fucking awesome Seeker. And that is my not-so-professional opinion. But I guess, unless you play for the Cannons or are the back up Seeker for the Wanderers, you can't play Professional Quidditch if you're terrible. Of course some Keepers are also very good a

Anyway, I was going to say something, but I think Bill has yelled at me a bit enough for a lifetime in the past two weeks and I'd like to keep that to a minimum if it is possible.

I'm ready to be at home and back to playing U-21. Horton have you been picked up by a team yet because I'm pretty sure that Robards a blind person could play Seeker better than whats-his-fuck playing back up to Urquhart.

Aunt Ashley owled me this week and HOLY SHIT ROGER. ARE YOU REALLY SITTING THE NEWTS?
